Q2 2024 Android Puzzle Games Performance in the US: Sensor Tower Insights

Puzzle games continue to engage and entertain mobile users, and the second quarter of 2024 has seen interesting trends in the US Android market. Data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how the top five puzzle games have performed during this period.

Block Blast!, from Hungry Studio, showed a steady increase in downloads from 6K in the first week of April to over 15K by the end of June. Weekly active users, however, experienced a decline from 98K to 86K in the same period.

FALCON GAMES' Screw Puzzle: Wood Nut & Bolt saw its revenue fluctuating, with a peak of $449 in late May. Weekly downloads reached their highest at nearly 9K in the final week of June, and the game's active users increased from 5.7K to 21.7K throughout the quarter.

Oakever Games' Zen Word® - Relax Puzzle Game had a significant spike in downloads in late April, jumping from a few hundred to over 10K, before settling at 4K towards the end of June. Active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at over 20K in mid-June.

Dream Games' Royal Match maintained a strong revenue stream, with weekly figures generally above $20K. Downloads saw a slight rise from 4.4K to 5.8K mid-quarter, but ended on a lower note at 2.4K. Active users peaked at 71K in mid-May but saw a slight decrease to 64K by the end of June.

Peak's Match Factory! witnessed a remarkable revenue increase from $57 to over $5K by the end of May, stabilizing around $4.7K by the close of June. Download numbers surged to 6.6K in late April but fell to 2.6K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users showed healthy growth, starting at 279 and reaching a high of over 20K in early June.
